Lemon Tea for Weight Loss (Detox & Refreshing)
A simple and refreshing lemon tea that boosts metabolism, aids digestion, and supports healthy weight loss. Serves 1–2.
What you'll need
Use fresh lemon juice and organic honey for the best detox effect.
- Water1 cup
- Fresh lemon juice1 tbsp (½ lemon)
- Honey (optional)1 tsp
- Green tea leaves / bag1 tsp or 1 bag
- Fresh ginger (grated)½ tsp
- Mint leaves (optional)3–4 leaves
Method
Boil water
In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a gentle boil.
Add green tea and ginger
Turn off the heat. Add green tea leaves or a tea bag along with grated ginger. Steep for 2–3 minutes.
Strain and mix
Strain the tea into a cup. Add fresh lemon juice and honey (if desired). Stir well.
Serve
Enjoy warm, preferably on an empty stomach in the morning or after meals.
